On 9 December 2024, the School of Chinese Medicine, invited by the Office of Academic Links, arranged visits and interactive workshops for representatives from 61 universities worldwide. This initiative aimed to promote the ‘Study in Hong Kong’ brand and showcase the city as an international hub for higher education. The representatives visited the teaching clinic and participated in two interactive workshops, where they made Chinese herbal sachets and experienced auricular acupressure.
After the workshops, the participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions with faculty members, gaining deeper insights into the practical applications of Chinese medicine. They explored the rich history and modern advancements in the field, and learned about the integration of traditional practices with contemporary healthcare. The hands-on experience allowed them to appreciate the therapeutic benefits of Chinese medicine and its role in promoting holistic well-being.
