Professor Yan-Fang Xian has obtained her PhD degree in 2013 from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has investigated the neuroprotective effect of Chinese herbal medicines using in vivo and in vitro models of Alzheimer’s disease and depression for more than 10 years. She and her research team also have rich experience in studying the cancers related to the urinary system and digestive system.
Professor Xian has published over 60 original research articles based on her experimental findings in various SCI-listed academic journals such as Brain, Behavior and Immunity, FASEB Journal, Journal of Alzheimer’s disease, and Phytomedicine. The total citations of her publications are more than 1500 times. The H-index of her is 26 (Web of Science).
