Programme Aims
By equipping students with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge and cutting-edge skills in the research and development of Chinese medicines, the programme aims to cultivate future talents in Chinese medicine (CM) pharmacology and drug development for supporting Chinese medicines industry growth.

Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction is mainly in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin), supplemented with English. Course materials may not be available in bilingual versions. Students should be proficient in both Chinese and English.
Lesson Time and Venue
For full-time students, lessons are arranged on campus after 6:30pm on every Monday to Friday.*
For part-time students, lessons are arranged on campus after 6:30pm on weekdays. Students are normally required to attend around 2 to 3 lessons per week*
(* Some lessons may be scheduled on Saturday.)

In addition to the above requirements, applicants should have:

A recognized bachelor's degree in the following disciplines, i.e., Chinese medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacy in Chinese medicine, Clinical medicine, and Life sciences. Holders of a bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical-related or chemical science may also be considered.

A recognized bachelor's degree from a university outside China / Hong Kong / Taiwan / Macau or a Chinese-speaking country should possess a pass grade in Chinese in an examination at senior secondary or above level.

Tuition Fee
2025/26 Admission
1-Year Full-Time: HKD 220,000 per year
2-Year Part-Time: HKD 110,000 per year
Accommodation
The programme is a self-financing programme. All students are required to arrange their own accommodation off-campus.
Scholarship
A scholarship scheme has been established to award the graduates with outstanding academic performance.
